What do Scouts do?

Scouts go further: camps and expeditions, water activities like paddleboarding, and projects that help the local community. They work in small teams called patrols, take on more responsibility, and plan more of their own programme.

Joining Scouts

Scouts places go to young people moving up from our Cubs first. If a space does come up, we advertise it on our Facebook page and offer it first come, first served. This doesn’t happen often, so the surest way to a place is to join our waiting list while your child is young.

At 14, Scouts can move on to Explorers, for 14 to 18 year olds.
